CW Brass Gland Packs

The CMP CW type brass indoor and outdoor cable glands are for use with all types of single wire armour (SWA) cable, creating an environmental seal on the cable outer sheath. This cable gland also provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via the armour wire termination.

An armour cone and AnyWay universal clamping ring configeration allows the cable to be easily disconnected from the equipment, for easy maintenance and change out. This feature also facilitates remote make off procedures when the termination is to be conducted in a confined space or in an area of restricted access.

The CMP CW range of industrial cable glands are designed and tested to BS 6121:Part 1:1989, they meet or surpass the requirements of EN 50262 :1999, and are produced from Brass grade CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) to EN12168.
